In order to identify it, connect to the router using other devices such as an Android smartphone and check whether it connects or not. In case it’s working, there is a problem with your device. Maybe it is corrupted or having other issues.
On the other hand, if WiFi connected but no internet access error shows on other devices as well, it’s a clear cut indication that your router is faulty. In order to fix this, restart your router or modem once. For this, power off your router or modem for some time. After that, power them both on and check now.

For this, all you have to do is open the Control Panel on your system and click on the Windows firewall option. Afterward, click on the ‘Turn Off Windows Firewall’ option. This will put your Windows firewall in the disabled mode. On the off chance that your WiFi is giving trouble due to the firewall, you will now get connected to the internet on your device.
5. Check for Outdated Wireless Mode
The internet speed is entirely dependent on the wireless mode that your router uses while accessing the internet. 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.11ac, and 802.11n are the most common wireless standards used by the router. In case you are still facing ‘WiFi connected but no internet’ error, possibilities are your router is using an old and slow wireless 802.11b mode.
